Sabine Joosten

Dutch photographer Sabine Joosten (Heer, the Netherlands, 1963) is known for her personal visual style and her collaborative, socially engaged approach to her subjects. Working as a documentary-based photographer since 1989 for various clients, she sees photography as a way of observing her environment, responding to it, and translating it into a single evocative image or a coherent series. With more than 35 years of experience, her photographs consistently tell a deeply personal story. Whether creating a private portrait or working on an assignment, her aim is always to produce an image that communicates a compelling visual narrative.

Always attentive and collaborative, Sabine works closely with her clients, thinking with them about how an image can communicate effectively and resonate in people’s minds.

She also teaches Lightroom Classic and offers photography workshops on request.
